  • Message:  “A Familiar Friendship with Jesus” by Bobby Murphy.  Bobby practiced law in Akron, Ohio, after which he pastored Bethel Evangelical Friends Church (Friends or Quaker) in Poland, Ohio, for 30 years, retiring in 2017.  He’s written a book about God's nature titled 20/20 Vision, which addresses His attributes revealed, explained, and applied.  He is married to Jill Murphy and has two adult sons, Moses and Aaron, and four grandsons.
  • We will receive Discernment of Gifts nominations.  Please ask the person if they are willing to serve on this committee before nominating them.  Presently serving on the committee are Todd Miller and Pam Mercer.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Camp Luz will be hosting a Fall Fest Fundraiser on Sunday, October 21.  Activities start at 3 p.m. and include a trail trek, craft project, cider press, and hayrides.  A pulled-pork dinner (by donation) and Honeytown concert begin at 5 p.m. and will pause around 6:15 for a pie auction.  All proceeds support the ministry of Camp Luz.

Redeemed Quartet in concert at North Lima Mennonite Church Sunday, October 21, at 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday, October 24, North Lima Mennonite Church Auction at 6:00 p.m.  Food Stand opens at 4:30 p.m.

Gospel Express Ministries Fall Banquet October 31 at 6:00 p.m.  Flyer in your mailbox today and on the bulletin board.
